If, like me, you use your pockets as bags, handwarmers, dustbins or small storage units, it is little wonder that they develop holes over time.
This doesn't mean a garment needs to be discarded. Patching up a hole is a straightforward repair which will give new life to a much loved garment.
If the hole is near the pocket opening, or you can feel that the whole pocket is wearing thin it might be better to replace it altogether.
